Divorce isn't such a tragedy. A tragedy's staying in an unhappy marriage, teaching your children the wrong things about love. Nobody ever died of divorce.

Question

I'll get to the point to save your time .

My Russian wife that i married in Australia just sent me a divorce certificate out of the blue. She is in Moscow now and i am here in Australia.

I don't think its real and i need you guys to help me. I need to know if this is real and how i go about getting a real one if i need to. Hi thank you for your reply. To decide what to do we need to find out if the document is real and then if it is we can organize a plan based on that.

I would appeal it if it was real.

!
Answer

Thank you for copy of divorce order. Please provide copy of your passport as well.

I need a power of attorney from you to check validity of this order and make appeal, if needed.

This document looks real (I will make request to the court to know for sure). If this is real, we will have very limited time for appeal.

However, you need to understand that according to the Russian law, any spouse has absolutely right to get divorce. So, finally you will be divorced in any case unless you already divorced in your country.
