QuestionMy son was adopted from Russia. Currently wants to join the Navy Seals. He is told he needs to renounce his citizenship. First is this true? Second, the recruiter does not seem to know how to help him do this. Any suggestions?? Thank you for any information. He is technically enlisted, but this is the last step.

AnswerIf your son will decide to make a Navy carrier, at some stage he will have to renounce his Russian citizenship. But I do not think he has to do it now.
